Asbestos Building Inspections, Assessments, and Testing
Building owners must be aware of asbestos-containing materials resident in the buildings they own. This is a requirement of both the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
To determine the presence
or absence of asbestos in construction materials, a building inspection must be
performed. Samples are taken and subjected to laboratory analysis. This is
required for the ongoing operation of the building as well as prior to
renovation or demolition. Moreover, certain institutions, such as school
buildings, are subject to additional requirements for their operation,
renovation, or demolition.
Environmental Support Network, Inc. assists building
owners in the determination of the presence or absence of asbestos-containing
materials in their structures by providing building inspections, assessments,
and testing.
